Quick rules
- Any player except the defender can toss in cards matching a rank already on the table
- Defended everything on the table — you become the attacker
- Took the cards — the same attacker goes again
- Last one left holding cards is the durak
- Up to 6 players at one table
- Ratings use an Elo system - beating a stronger opponent earns more than beating a weaker one, and losing to a weaker opponent costs more than losing to a stronger one. Your rating appears after your first finished game
- Each player has 5 minutes for the whole game - the clock only runs while it's your move. Run out of time and you're out
- The host can turn throw-ins off before starting for a classic single-card-per-bout game
- Starting a game opens a 45s ready check - everyone (host included) must click Accept, or they're dropped from the room

Game rules
36 cards (ranks 6-14) is the classic deck. 52 cards (ranks 2-14, no jokers) is a common house rule for large tables. At exactly 6 players, 36 cards deals every player's whole hand with nothing left in reserve - no draws, and the trump card stays visible for the whole game instead of sitting in a reserve pile.
